Corrie is an award-winning ceramist from the UK, currently living and working in Barcelona. She is a member of the IAC, the International Academy of Ceramics, and runs the Corrie Bain International Ceramics School in Barcelona. She has also made many large-scale sculptural installations including socio-political works related to the Syrian refugee crisis, environmental issues, and Brexit. Corrie created four pieces for K M by L A N G E show ZEMLIA and performed Korean decoration technique during the show which took place one week later after Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Korean Buncheong Vase was made with brown stoneware clay, wheelthrown, fired to 1240°C, decorated with vitreous engobes. The technique is Corrie´s interpretation of Korean Buncheong ware after living in Korea for several years, and studying under Korean master potter Lee Kang Hyo at Alfred University.All funds from the sale of this piece will go to support Ukraine, Ukrainian women refuges and children, Ukrainian integrity. We donate all funds to Voices of Children charity organization. All the information about sales of this item will be public and trackable.
